This collection was born from a shared interest with my friend and colleague Estefanía Lizarazo: the Japanese Lolita subculture. We were drawn to its delicate aesthetic and also to the fact that there is a very active community in Colombia around Harajuku-inspired fashion.
RELEVANT FACT :

Fashion in the Harajuku district of Tokyo became famous in the 1990s as a space where young people freely expressed their identity through unique, colorful, and often extreme styles. It was in this context that the Lolita subculture was born, inspired by Victorian and Rococo aesthetics, characterized by dresses with lace, bows, frills, and very feminine silhouettes. Harajuku became a key hub for Japanese street style and visual experimentation.
The goal of this proposal is to merge elements of the Lolita subculture, which originated in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, with everyday fashion. We aim to adapt its aesthetic codes so they can be casually integrated into daily outfits. This way, those who appreciate the cute, charming, and slightly glamorous essence of Lolita fashion can incorporate it into their personal style without sacrificing functionality.
Through this collection, we offer a local alternative that makes this aesthetic accessible within the national market. Our proposal focuses on garments that combine comfort, functionality, and style—featuring Lolita-inspired outfits with pockets, breathable fabrics, and inclusive sizing. This addresses a real market need, as current offerings are mostly limited to small sizes and low-quality synthetic materials.
We want to provide followers of this subculture with a thoughtful, higher-quality local option, made in Colombia, that pays attention to the details they value—offering a better alternative to the often disappointing imported options currently available.
